On September 12th, 1998, Stephanie went to Seattle to drink with two guys she didn't know very well. At almost 11:00, the Land Cruiser that she was riding in flipped over the guardrail of the 520 Bridge into Lake Washington. The 2 guys in the car, the driver and backseat passenger, managed to escape the car, but they left Stephanie in the car to drown. She was left in the water for 30 minutes before rescuers pulled her out. She died that night, and it was the night that I lost my life and my happiness. Stephanie meant more to me than anything else. It is so hard going on with my life without her. If only Hunter wouldn't have been drinking and driving, my best friend would still be alive.




              Another star burns out
              Another day is over
              Another child is gone
              Someone God was supposed to watch over

              She was so young
              She didn't have to die
              If only people knew
              They shouldn't drink and drive

              I hate the man who did this to her
              I hope you rot in hell
              But since she died and you didn't
              I hope you are tortured in your cell

              This happens everyday
              To innocent people who should live
              They are in the wrong place at the wrong time
              Their life isn't what they should give

              For a moment in time
              I stop and think
              What each day would be like
              If he wouldn't have had a drink
