Jeff Brown was special, he was 19, a freshman in college, and an outstanding athelete. On April 6, 1994, he went to see Major League 2, and on his way home, a drunk driver hit his car head on....he died of head injuries 23 days later. We will miss our special beloved Jeff every day we live.
There is baseball in heaven
and Jeff is on the team
He plays with all the great ones now
On his field of dreams.
Forever young, Forever free
to play the game he played for me
When we get there, we'll be in the crowd
Cheering him on, oh so loud
Fields of purple flowers,
Meadows painted green,
Gently rolling waters
Sparkling and serene.
The place that God has chosen for you
Is beautiful to behold,
Filled with love and happiness;
In Heaven you will never grow old.
Free of the pain that troubles us all
You're far beyond this earthly door,
Free to fly with the angels;
Spread your wings and soar.
