We were a family of four children....3 boys and a girl. Joseph is the oldest born in '66, next came David, 18 months later, born in '67. Paul was born 2 1/2 years later in '70. We then had a big span and our daughter Annmarie was born in '79. When Annmarie was 3 1/2, David was killed by a drunk driver while we were away on vacation.
I started our county chapter of MADD the follwoing year in '83 and am still very active in the chapter.
David was a peacemaker and at the very tender age of (not quite 15...he was a real ladies man. His personality was such that he made friends everywhere he went. He was also quite intellegent and was recognized by Johns Hopkins University for his almost perfect CAT's (California Achievement Tests). He took the SAT's in 7th grade, but he wasn't an "A" student because he was too interested in the social life.
Paul died as a result of a motorcycle crash, non-alcohol related.
