Timothy Sean Evenson

Born: August 19, 1972 - Died: March 28, 1999

I only knew Tim for about a year. But what I learned from him in that one years time, will affect me always. He was one of the very first ones in the graduate school of the Chemistry Department to introduce himself to me. He was always so cheerful and happy and that mood just had to carry over to others that crossed his path.

Tim, was an extrodanary person, friend, mentor, student and acquaintence. His presence will never be forgotten.

I miss you my friend.

Desiree'

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea.

But such a tide as moving seems asleep
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell.
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.
