Susan Denise Rodgers


            July 15, 1978 - December 19, 1999



            Susan Denise Rodgers was my beautiful, beautiful niece. She was beautiful inside and out and had carefully and joyfully planned a beautiful life for herself and her beloved Chris. She worked hard and she loved life. But all of that was taken away from her by a drunk driver.

            I miss our talks and I miss hearing her voice on the phone saying "Hi, Aunt Bev.!" and sounding truly glad to talk to me. The time we spent together in California will always be some of the best times of my life. I wish I had told her that.

            She is loved so much by her family and friends and, of course, by Chris. Our hearts are aching and broken from missing her. She will always be a part of our hearts and our lives.

            We will never forget you, Susie and we will never stop loving you.
