What our names mean

Eliana Ivy (Eliana Chaya in Hebrew) was named because Mommy and Daddy really liked the meaning of the name Eliana. It means 'G-d answered' because she was our answer to a prayer for a second child. It also turned out to be a wonderful name for her because she was so sick and our prayers for her recovery were answered. Ivy is for Jan's grandmother. Jan was very close to her as a child. Jan always felt like grandmother Ivy was watching over Eliana when she was sick.
