For My Mother

A mom is there right from the start,

To hold you forever in her heart.

She'll dry your tears,

And calm your fears.

And hug your hurts away.

******

A mom is behind you all the way,

And brightens up your saddest day.

She's home and hearth and confident

An angel that was heaven sent.

To make your spirits soar.

*****

There's no one who will love you more

She is the center of life's core.

And even when she has to go,

In your heart you'll forever know,

That she always loved you so.

(Barbara Ann)

From your eight children and 25 grandchildren

And your 6 greatgrandchildren.

We love and miss you.

THAT WONDERFUL MOTHER OF MINE

The moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
The birds never sing but a message they bring
Of that wonderful mother of mine.
Just to bring back the time, that was so sweet to me,
Just to bring back the days, when I sat on her knee.

I pray ev'ry night to our Father above,
For that wonderful mother of mine.
I ask Him to keep her as long as He can
That -- wonderful mother of mine.
There are treasures on earth, that made life seem worthwhile,
But there's none can compare to my mother's smile.
(Refrain)

You were a wonderful mother, dear old Mother of mine.
You'll hold a spot down deep in my heart,
'Till the stars no longer shine.
Your soul shall live on forever,
On through the fields of time.
For there'll never be another to me,
Like that wonderful Mother of mine.

Mother Our True Heart Everlasting Rose

Mom I miss you so very much,

I miss your kindness, your loving touch,

The talks we used to have

You were home and heart,

There are times I wish

you were there to talk with,

Yet you are not there

One day I will see you again

In heaven with Jesus

I will miss you until then.

The rose was your favorite flower. I keep them in my house as a reminder of you.

Dad's favorite song was "My Wild Irish Rose"

That was the Irish part of you that he loved :your smile

When Irish Eyes are smiling.

You had a beautiful smile,

And a loving heart, you visited the sick, clothed the naked, and fed the hungry.

The word No was not in your vocabulary.

The world was a better place because of you.

You are missed by many.

You went to a wedding and ended up at a funeral (your own)

Killed in a crash.

You told someone beforehand you felt like you were going to a funeral instead of a wedding,

Did you have a premonition?

You told us days before you had a dream Dad had a cottage for you.

Was that the one in heaven.

Some day I will know .

Love your daughter
