| Here she is, my "Generations of Jane" quilt! I began the first block on April 22, 1998 and had the top completed on Sept. 14, 1998. I put the quilt on the frame in November 1998 and on and off for the next year and half, I worked on handquilting her. On June 2, 2000 I was doing the snoopy dance, as I put the last stitch on the binding at 4:30pm. What a wonderful feeling that was. Total working time spent on Jane was approx. 1 1/2 years. Total pieces for the blocks and triangles are 5078. On the page 3 link below you can see my quilt at various stages. |
