A very important verse to me is Romans 5:8...But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us.
It is so wonderful to know that if I was the only one, He would have still died for me and He died for you also.

I know it's very important for us as God's children to keep His Word hidden in our heart to fight off attacks of Satan.
Psalms 119:11...Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.

Another very important verse that I try to remember whenever I face temptation is:
1 Corinthians 10:13 ...There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Many places in God's Word He tells us to trust in Him, and as Christians that is what we need to do! Here are just a few verses saying so:

Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psa 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
