Before this class I wasn't aware that you could move a selection and that when you set the options by using the Select Area panel you can also enlarge the rectangle.
Also discovered you can copy and paste the selection for an unusal result

Green & Blue Plaid Gradient Golden Sunbeam Gradient Sunrise photo gradient Original Christmas Ornament I made Ornament filled with rainbow gradient
Started with summer field gradient & made some changes in color and also in opacity & flood filled twice using layers, rotated top image. Started with Gold Gradient, edited it & rotated it to get a sunbeam effect Made a yellow, orange, red, orange gradient. Flood filled, added another layer, flood filled again & rotated 90 degrees. Set blend mode to Screen Made a rainbow gradient, then using layers selected the xmas ornament and flood filled with the gradient. Set blend mode to overlay

 

Rainbow Gradient Welcome
Used blue outline, rainbow gradient, and crumpled paper texture. Added Eye Candy Chrome (BlueSky)

Fluffy Cat Filled Hello
Cut out my cats head from previous lesson and used as a pattern fill.

Plaid Hello
Again used one of my patterns with the Denim texture, with a slight drop shadow.
