~THE STRONG WILLED CHILD~
You tell me "Be Quiet" "Sit down," "Obey." You insist that I listen To what you have to say.
You tell me "Take off Your shoes at the door" And "Pick up your clothes From the bedroom floor."
You love me - you say it Once in awhile, But mostly you frown Instead of smile.
I know you tell others I'm a "difficult child" - I heard you tell Grandma I drive you wild.
We don't have much fun At home these days. It seems like you just like me If I do what you say.
I guess I cause trouble With most things I do, But you can't send me back - God addressed me to you!
