|
Charles E. Taylor brought his mother, Mary A Peoples out to Lemoore, CA after 1901. He worked for the Lemoore Post Office delivering mail, for 47 years. He also owned property in Lemoore. He had three ranches, two on Glendale Ave., and one on the River road off of the 41, near the Kings River. |
|
|
The family lived in a house built by Charlie's brothers in 1899. The house was of adobe, and frame. They raised a garden, had chickens, rabbits, and cows. The house burned to the ground in June 19, 1953. I know this, because we were living in the house when it burned down. |
|
|
Charles and Eunice Taylor also had a house at 640 D Street in Lemoore. They lived there for many years. |
|
|
Charles E Taylor attended of Milligan College, Carter County Tennessee. |
|
|
|

William was despondent about the fact that his partner accused him of cheating him out of some gold in their claim, so he packed up all of his belongings, and labeled them with his brothers name; (Charles E. Taylor) and shot himself. Even his gun had his brothers name on it. |
