Inexpensive and Easy
        Fried Rice

        Ingredients:
4 cups cooked rice (long grain, not instant)
1 pkg bacon, cut in 1" pieces
1 bundle of green onions, diced
soy sauce, salt and pepper, to taste

        Directions:
Using just a "tad" bit less water than usual, cook rice as directed. While rice is cooking, cook 1"pieces of bacon in large pot until well done, though not crispy. Add chopped green onions, stirring and cooking until onions are soft. By this time the rice should be done (if not, turn heat down and keep an eye on bacon and onions until rice is done and ready to be added) - DO NOT drain the bacon grease (it is needed for flavoring). Add rice, stirring thoroughly. Now, add salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste.

Please Note: When initially cooking the rice, use a "tad" bit less water. When you mix the remaining ingredients (especially the soy sauce), the moisture level will increase, and if the rice was already soggy or gooey, the fried rice won't have the same taste.
