Pepper Steak


        Ingredients:
        1 1/2 to 2 lbs round steak - cut into 1" strips, 1/4" thick
        28 oz can of whole tomatoes
        8 oz can of tomato sauce
        1 bell pepper - cored and cut into 1/4" thick strips
        1 tablespoon of corn starch - dissolved in cold water
        salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste

        Directions:
        In one tablespoon of cooking oil, brown meat. When meat is thoroughly cooked (approximately 3-5 mins.), add whole tomatoes, crushing them into bites-sized pieces, and tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 20 mins. Stir in cornstarch and add bell pepper strips. Salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste. Cover and cook another 5 mins or until peppers reach desired crispness. Serve over rice & enjoy!
