                      I knew that you were special
                      the first time our eyes met
                      That you'd forever be the one
                      that I would not forget

                      This never happened to me before
                      it took me by surprise
                      'Cuz all I did was look at you
                      and "connected" with your eyes

                      I know it's true because
                      right from the very start
                      You looked right past my being
                      and reached into my heart

                      Each night before I go to sleep
                      each morn' before I rise
                      It always is your face I see
                      within my dream filled eyes

                      that you will never know
                      The one who longs to hold you
                      the one who loves you so
