daughter of JOHN MULL and MARY ANTHONY.

The Heritage Book from Burke County, page 229, says Conrad married Katherine in 1809,

was born February 27, 1791 in Burke County NC, and died 1831. He married EVA ABEE.

It is thought that Henry (Heinrich) and Eva are buried in the old Hildebrand Cemetery,
but there were no readable markers with their names.

The Heritage book, page 231 says Eva was of Swiss descent.

was born November 18, 1802, and died October 11, 1881 in buried in the old Hildebrand
Cemetery. He married MARY (MOLLY) MAGDALENE NULL in Burke County NC,
daughter of PETER NULL and ELIZABETH NULL.

Mary (Molly) is buried beside her husband and parents in the old Hildebrand Cemetery in
Burke County, but not much of her stone remains and it is not readable.

Grave of Sarah and Samuel are in the Hildebrand Cemetery in Burke County
Tombstone for Sarah does not give a birth date, but says she was 78 yrs and 2 months
Both her and Samuel's stones are broken in half, but still readable.

NANCY REYNOLDS, daughter of JOSIAH REYNOLDS and KATHERINE.

It is said that Amos and his wife Nancy, and six of their children

6.  JEULINA HILDEBRAND (CONRAD5, COONRAD4, CHRISTIAN3, PETER2, ANDREAS1
 HILDEBRAND) was born May 03, 1838, and died February 16, 1895 in buried in the
 old Hildebrand Cemetery.  She married (1) DAVID ALBERTO (BERT) HILDEBRAND, 
son of GEORGE HILDEBRAND and MARY NULL.  She married (2) WHITNER.

Notes for JEULINA HILDEBRAND:
Heritage Book, Burke Co. Page 230
Jeulina married a man named Whitner, who was friends with her cousin David Alberto 
Hildebrand, they fought together in the Civil War. Whitner grieved at leaving his wife
and two daughters, Belzora and Emmaline, and always in his letters asked Jeulina to 
tell the girls he loved them. When Whitner was mortally wounded, he asked "Bert" to 
take his pocketbook containing $.75 and pocket knife to his family and to help them 
all he could, which Bert did. Sometime later, Bert married Jeulina and they had a son, 
George Washington Hildebrand October 22, 1869, named for Bert's Grandfather. 
The second son was named Adolphus (Dolph).

6.  DANIEL HILDEBRAND (HEINRICH5, COONRAD4, CHRISTIAN3, PETER2, ANDREAS1
HILDEBRAND) was born 1823, and died February 20, 1865.  He married MARTHA 
ABERNETHY December 21, 1854.

Notes for DANIEL HILDEBRAND:
The Heritage book, page 231, says that Daniel was arrested as a soldier on October 20, 
1863 at Morganton and was assigned to Company B, 45th Regiment, North Carolina 
Infantry C.S.A. In July, 1864, he was captured near Harper's Ferry, imprisoned at Elmira,
NY, where he died on February 20, 1865 and was buried. Martha is buried in Mount 
Home Church cemetery.

Hildebrand Cemetery.  He married (1) JEULINA HILDEBRAND, daughter of CONRAD
 HILDEBRAND and KATHERINE YOUNG.  He married (2) MATTIE LOWMAN.

Burke Chapel Methodist Church.  She married JAMES H. HILDEBRAND, son of SAMUEL
HILDEBRAND and SARAH HILDEBRAND.

7.  MARY CAROLINE HILDEBRAND (SAMUEL6, CONRAD5, COONRAD4,
 CHRISTIAN3, PETER2, ANDREAS1 HILDEBRAND) was born 1843.  She married AARON COOK
 1859-1860, son of JESSE COOK and MARTHA AIKEN.


Notes for AARON COOK:
1850 Burke County Census shows Jesse and Martha Cook, with several children including Aaron. 
He was 13 years old at the time. 1860 census shows an Aaron Cook, 23, with Caroline, 17. So we 
have estimated their births from this information.

Notes for SAMUEL M. COOKE:

Graves of Samuel and Ida were visited by Roberta and Glenn on May 24th 1998. 
Samuel's grave marker lists him as being born on March 29, 1886, which we know is a
20 year mistake. He was married in 1888.
