Ruben Tafoya
Ruben and I met shortly after I started working at Home Depot in October 1996. I was a cashier and he worked in the Hardware department. I approached him because he'd decorated his good ol' orange apron with some incredible renditions of the X-men. And we were fast friends from then on. I worked at Home Depot for a little over a year, but we continued to hang out until he graduated from Joe Kubert's and I graduated from Montclair in summer 1999. I used to pose for him occassionally - not naked, so don't get any ideas, folks. Anyhow, after graduation, Ruben moved back to TX and I moved to CT. We haven't seen each other in over 5 years. ::sobs:: However, he's a great online buddy and I always look forward to talking to him. He's an incredibly talented artist so you should definitely go check out his artwork. I mean it!
