Where angels are there is love.

Angel Poems

"We are all angels with but one wing, And only by embracing each other can we fly".

ANGELS

Angels of the darkest night
wings of transparent white
gleaming so beautifully bright
thoughts of heavenly flight

Angels of a summer's day
flying around on there way
to save lost souls from decay
hoping once more they will play

Angels on our shoulder look
to remind us live by the book
giving kindness to all who took
gaining a place in Gods flock.

ANGELFIRE
Angelfire is deep within my soul
her flames inginte my darkest coal
Black no more, She's made me glow
each time I hear her voice I flow

Angelfire certainly shows us the way
how to behave and whats right to say
She alway's lights up my entire day
I'll always be your friend Angelfire

Angels Among Us

Oh, I believe there are angels among us
Sent down to us from somewhere up above
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
To show us how to live
To teach us how to give
To guide us with the light of love.

chorus from
"Angels Among Us"
by Alabama~

Dear God,

So far today, I've done all right and I'm really feeling good about myself for that. I haven't gossiped, and I haven't lost my temper. I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or overindulgent, and I haven't harmed anyone in anyway that I know of. I believe that I've done everything exactly the way You would want me to do, and I'm really proud of myself for that God…

But Lord, here in just a few more minutes I am going to get out of bed, and knowing me the way that I do, from then on I'm probably going to need a whole lot of Your help!!

Thanks God!

AMEN

An angel here, an angel there,
I’m surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I’m in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.

An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
An angel to fill that dark hole inside.
An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,
I’m surrounded by angels, everywhere.

The angels who reach out when times are rough
Who’ll listen to my heartache and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
The angels surround me with comforting light.

I guess God is busy and can’t come on down
To give me a smile and take care of my frown
So He sent a few angels to brighten my day
And help to carry my burdens away.

So thank you, dear angels, more than you’ll know
For watering the happiness and making it grow!

"When special people touch our lives,
then suddenly we see how
beautiful and wonderful our world can really be.

They show us that our special hopes and dreams can take us far,
by helping us look inward and believe in who we are.

They bless us with their love and joy through everything they give.

When special people touch our lives, they teach us how to live..."

You're Never Alone
by Margaret Neylon,Angelgate, Dublin, Ireland

You're never alone, you've an angel
Although it may seem far away
Somewhere up in the sky, above where the clouds fly
But that's where they come from, not where they reside
You just have to call them to be by your side
Cos you're never alone, you've an angel.

You're never alone, you've an angel
(At least one, if not two or more)
Just ask them a question, await the reply
Through TV, the post, or in bed where you lie
Asleep, deep in dreaming, and when you awake
Your reasoning, trance-like, your head needs a shake
Make the first thing you do upon waking each day
To record your dream travels and see what they say
They may be a message sent down from above
To help you, to guide you, to fill you with love.
Cos you're never alone, you've an angel.

So if you feel lonely, or if you feel blue
There's an angel beside you to help you, it's true.
Cos you're never alone, you've an angel.
Now open your heart up, it's waiting for you.

Our friends are like angels,
Who brighten our days.
In all kinds of wonderful,
Magical ways.
Their thoughtfulness comes,
As a gift from above.
And we feel we're surrounded,
By warm, caring love.
Like upside-down rainbows,
Their smiles bring the sun.
And they fill ho-hum moments,
With laughter and fun.
Friends are like angels,
Without any wings.
Blessing our lives,
With the most precious things.

~ Angel of the Night ~
~**~**~**~**~**~**~

I tiptoe across the sky at night
I look down upon your sleeping face
I catch a ride on a shooting star
It brings me to where you are

I lay on your pillow for the night
To watch you as your dreams unfold
To see your eyes flicker
To see your lips smile

Then gently I brush my lips on yours
We reach for each other in the dark
Together so close alone in that room
With just the silver beams of the moon

Then the new day dawns
The night starts to fade
Its time for me to catch a star
To take me away so far

I look down on your face once again
As you begin to wake
I see you look at the moons last beam
You are wondering
Was it Just a Dream.....

So until the next shooting star passes your way
You will wonder each night as you lay
Can I ever relive that dream.....
The answer is there for you to behold

Your Angel of the night wont let you down
She will be there when you want to be held
All you have to do is open your heart
You will soon know it wasnt a Dream....

ANGELS UNAWARE
~**~**~**~
It was a rainy night in New Orleans;
At a bus station in the town,
I watched a young girl weeping
As her baggage was taken down.
It seems she'd lost her ticket
Changing buses in the night.
She begged them not to leave her there
With no sign of help in sight.

The bus driver had a face of stone
And his heart was surely the same.
"Losing your ticket's like losing cash money,"
He said, and left her in the rain.

Then an old Indian man stood up
And blocked the driver's way
And would not let him pass before
He said what he had to say.

"How can you leave that girl out there?
Have you no God to fear?
You know she had a ticket.
You can't just leave her here.
You can't put her out in a city

Where she doesn't have a friend.
You will meet your schedule,
But she might meet her end."
The driver showed no sign
That he'd heard or even cared
About the young girl's problem
Or how her travels fared.

So the old gentleman said,
"For her fare I'll pay.
I'll give her a little money
To help her on her way."
He went and bought the ticket

And helped her to her place
And helped her put her baggage
In the overhead luggage space.
"How can I repay," she said,
"the kindness you've shown tonight?
We're strangers who won't meet again
A mere ' 'thank you ' doesn't seem right."

He said, "What goes around comes around.
This I've learned with time - -
What you give, you always get back;
What you sow, you reap in kind.
Always be helpful to others
And give what you can spare;
For by being kind to strangers,
We help angels unaware
