This is a slide show
on the Flowers that we have in Arizona. Most of
these flowers are from pictures that I have taken in
and around Sun Lakes, Arizona. This is a small
portion of the flowers that we actually have.
This show is divided into three sections. Desert
Flowers, Garden Flowers, and Trees and Shrubs.
The music that is playing is Clair de lune
written by Claude DeBussy in 1894. (You might have to raise your volume to hear the music).
Go
to the
Kitchen, Get yourself a cup of coffee or hot
chocolate.
Or maybe a shake of
your favorite flavor
Then sit back and
enjoy the show.
DESERT
FLOWERS
I have used some of
the more colorful Desert Flowers. This is by no means
all of the flowers in the desert.
GARDEN FLOWERS
We grow the same type of flowers that people in
other parts of the country grow. The only
difference, we plant in October and November instead
of in the spring. In mid-May, people who want
flowers in the summer plant summer flowers that need
hot weather.
TREES
& SHRUBS
Most of these Trees &
Shrubs grow only in the warmer climates.
