My friend Marilyn in PA (we go back to the 3rd grade) and I decided we both wanted make the HDTV's "Strolling the Block" BOM a special quilt so we each selected 6 blocks and made 2 of each and swapped! As you can see we finished the quilts differently mine in "blue" and Marilyn's in "warm" colors. We machine blanket stitched the appliqué blocks. |
This Heart block swap was with a
group of young "teens" just learning to quilt. The Hearts were
blanket stitched by hand.
