Playground Angels     

When asked if I believed in angels,

I replied, "Yes, I do."

  "Here's my angel, she is sitting in the swing next to me and you."

"See...they are with us here all around this playground.

    Up there on the slide, watching as each child goes down.   

Standing by the monkey bars, watching as those children swing around". 

"And look, there is one walking with that child who is looking at that bird in the tree.

  And there's  an angel, drying a tear off that little boy who just fell on his knee".

  "There's an angel watching over the children over there, playing that game. 

And there is one sitting by the tree, next to the new boy whose name is James".

"So you see, no matter where you are on this playground, no matter what you do...

There's lots of angels looking after me and you".     

A student of mine asked me this question one day while the class

was out on the playground, "Do I believe in Angels?".

I replied, "Yes, I do.  They are watching us all the time."

So, if you are a parent....always know your children are being watched

by their teachers and very special "Playground Angels"
