Choonbi Position
Movement 1
- turn 90° left, moving left foot into a left back stance
- Keumgang middle block: simultaneous right arm
high block and left arm in-to-out middle block (cross arms in front of
chest at beginning, left fist is palm-up at end)

- right hand uppercut punch (Dangkyeo Teok Jireugi) to the chin (end
with elbow bent, same finish position as in-out middle block) while pulling
left fist to the upper chest

- pull left foot back slightly and point feet to north to assume parallel
stance (Nalanhi Seogi)
- left hand side knife-hand strike (shoulder height, arm straight, attacking

- tuck right hand into body: bend elbow down from spear-hand position
and twist palm, placing back of open right knife-hand on right hip (right
elbow is pointing forward, toward front of body)
- keeping feet in same postions pivot both feet and turn body 180°
left (CCW), assuming a left front stance to the South.

- complete a full turn to the left (180° more, to finish a 360°
and face body North once more), moving left foot around to outside, and
stepping to North into a left forward stance
- left hand backfist (palm-down) to the upper body (Waen Mejumeok Bakat
Chigi)
