Choonbi Position
Movement 1-1
- step forward with left foot into a left back stance
- left arm palm-down In-out middle block with right fist fixed in pit of stomach
1-2
- half-step forward, moving left foot into a left forward stance
- right hand middle punch (reverse punch)
Movement 2-1
- right leg front-snap kick
2-2
- before the right leg lands, immediately jump up off of left leg and perform left leg
- Ki-aup!
2-3
- land on the right leg from left jump front-snap snap kick, and then step forward and down with left leg into left forward stance
- left arm out-to-in block
2-4
- right hand middle punch
2-5
- left hand middle punch (very quickly after right punch)
Movement 3
- step forward with right foot into a right forward stance
- right hand middle punch
Movement 4
- turn body 90° left (facing West), but turn head 270° left to face the East.
- step backward with left heel into a right forward stance (backward forward stance--feet are facing West, but upper body is turned to left and head is facing East)
- combination left-arm side low block and right-arm high in-out side block
Movement 5
- turn body 180° left to face East (same as head), pivoting on both feet to assume left forward stance
- slowly perform left front backfist strike to the chin, while slowly pulling opponent to your shoulder with right fist
Movement 6-1
- turn head 180° right and sidestep to the West, crossing left foot in front of right, bending both knees
6-2
- quickly step backward (to west) with the right heel, turning body back to the left (East), assuming right forward stance (backward forward stance--feet/body are turned toward East, and head is facing West).
- combination right-arm side low block and left-arm high in-out side block
Movement 7
- turn body 180° right to face West (same as head), pivoting both feet to assume right forward stance
- slowly perform right front backfist strike while pulling your opponent closer with left fist
Movement 8
- turn 270° left, pivoting on left foot. step backward (to South) with right foot into a left back stance.
- left in-to-out middle (double) knife-hand block (right knife-hand fixed in pit of stomach)
Movement 9
- half-step forward with left foot into a left forward stance
- right hand middle punch
Movement 10-1
- right leg front-snap kick
10-2
- step down and back with right leg into original position (resuming left forward stance)
- then, step backward with left leg, assuming a right tiger stance
- right palm-fist middle block
Movement 11
- turn 90° left, moving left foot into a left tiger stance
- left in-to-out middle double knife-hand block (right hand palm-up at stomach)
Movement 12-1
- left leg front-snap kick (kick with forward leg, without stepping)
12-2
- step down with left foot into a left forward stance
- right hand middle punch
Movement 13
- pull the left foot backward into a left tiger stance
- left palm-fist middle block
Movement 14
- turn 180° right: turn by pivoting on both feet, moving right foot into a right tiger stance
