Breaded Sirloin

Breaded Sirloin and Zucchini !

Preparing the Breaded Sirloin
Buy a generous size boneless cut of Sirloin steak at your local butcher.

In a bowl, mix the following .....
3/4 cup of Italian seasoned Bread Crumbs.....
1/4 cup of Verdi 100% pure Olive Oil.....
1 tsp crushed garlic.....
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley.....
4 tbsp of grated Romano cheese.....
and a dash of salt and pepper.....

Mix all the ingredients together until the Olive oil is blended with everything.
You have to rub the Sirloin steak lightly with the oil in order to make the breading stick.
Now, scoop up the bread crumb mixture, and press it onto both sides of the steak.
Broil your Breaded Sirloin until it reaches your desired taste, medium rare is very good.

For the Rest of our Italian Dinner
We will be having Fried Zucchini, Green Salad, Italian Bread, and a nice Cabernet Bosche.

Fried Zucchini
Wash and cut 5 Zucchini in half, then slice them lengthwise.
In a small bowl, mix flour and a dash of salt and pepper.
Pour the flour mixture into a ziplock bag.
Lightly wet the Zucchini and place them in the ziplock bag.
Shake until the Zucchini is coated with the flour mixture.
Fry up the Zucchini in Olive Oil until they are golden brown.
Place on your serving dish and lightly sprinkle freshly grated Romano Cheese over it.

Italian Bread
Get a nice loaf of Italian Bread at your grocers or bakery.
Wrap the loaf in tin foil and warm in a low oven.
We want the butter to melt on it at dinner.

Green Salad
We have chosen Romaine Lettuce for our Salad. Wash your leaves and let them dry.
Do not cut, but tear the leaves to the size you desire. We are having
Italian herb dressing tonight.

Cabernet Bosche
To compliment our dinner we have chosen Freemark Abbey, 1985 Cabernet Bosche.
A rich and distinctive flavor comes from the blending of Cabernet Savignon and
Merlot grapes. This delicious wine is bottled in St. Helena, California.
