John Derek Longnecker

July 7, 1982 - January 19, 1998

Our beautiful son Derek Longnecker left this world at age 15. Depression and the loss of his grandparents took its toll on this wonderful young man. Derek was a very very kind, generous and thoughtful young man. He had a true heart of gold, always looking out for those in need. Derek will live on in our hearts until the day we die. He played football, baseball and soccer. He had wonderful friends. We know he is in the arms of God now, flying high with the angels above looking down on all of us, watching over each and every one of us. Derek is a true angel
