What is the Julie Lyn Foundation?

As a short term goal, the Julie Lyn Foundation would like to offer scholarships to qualifying students to help defray the cost of books or other expenses connected with a college or technical school. At this time we have a $10,000 CD on deposit. From the interest that this CD earns, we can provide such scholarships. The Foundation foresees a ten year goal of establishing living facilities for children in need to included emergency, temporary, and permanent shelters. We would like to get feedback from you, the community, on how you think the Foundation can help improve the lives of children under 18 years of age.
