FEATURES: One week sessions. Jamboree or Dining Hall sytle cooking, 80-acre lake with excellent aquatics program of swimming, canoeing, rowing, large sailing fleet and fishing. Other activities include horsemanship, handicraft, and well-noted nature and Scoutcraft programs. Great outpost programs include black powder, repelling, pole climbing.
Located in Douglas Fir country near Willits, the 2200 acre Wente Scout Reservation provides a great place for swimming and boating at our 80-acre lake. Wente has a trading post, great fishing, dining hall and lots of space for hiking. The 13 campsites include water, picnic tables and screen latrines.
DIRECTIONS: At the third traffic signal in Willits, (Commerical St) turn right, drive 2.5 miles to O'Leary's Feed. Turn left. Continue 1.5 files to sharp bridge that is Canyon Road. Go on 1.5 miles to camp gate on right side.

FAMILY VACATION CAMP: Held at Wente Scout Reservation. Camp features include great swimming, canoeing, rowing, sailing in our 80-acre lake. Choose from using camp tents, bringing your own or your trailer/RV (electricity, water, dump station provided for trailer/RV). Screen latrines, picnic tables, water washstands, flush toilets, showers nearby. Horseback riding, archery and rifle range with instruction. Trading post with ice, souvenirs, soda, candy, milk, bread. Refrigeration/freezer available at dining hall. Great fishing too! All for one very low price.
