The following are areas of the charter process that are often overlooked. Please check for them. Start early to ensure that you are not late turning in your recharter!!!
._____ Ensure that you have the signature of your charted organization's executive officer on the adult roster.
._____ Leave the signature line for the council representative and the fee section blank. Your Unit Commissioner, Assistant District Commissioner, District Commissioner or District Executive will fill in the fee section and sign on the signature line after he/she has reviewed your paperwork.
._____ A minimum of the following positions must be filled:

Chartered Organization Representative
CC
Committee Chairman
MC
2 Committee Members
CM, SM, VC, or EA
Adult Unit Leader
WL
For Cub Packs with registered Webelos
DL
For Cub Packs with registered Wolfs and Bears
._____ The Unit Leader must sign at the bottom of the Boy roster page after ensuring that the name, address, grade level, date of birth and rank and "Boy's Life" subscription information are correct.
._____ The adult's or youth's name and pertinent date should appear:
A. On the computer printout if currently registered.
B. On the overflow sheet if registered after the printout was prepared. (Provide a Xerox copy of the registration or submit a new registration with the recharter paperwork.)
._____ Ensure that all applications have proper signatures:
A. Adult applications are to be signed by the applicant, committee chairman, and chartered organization representative.
B. Youth applications are to be signed by the parents and the unit leader
._____ Be sure to double check your calculations on the worksheet before personally turning in your recharter paperwork to a Commissioner or the DE.
CHARTERS ARE DUE BY November 30, 1998
