A Tribute To Vicky
A Treasure That I Lost
IN this space I would like to take a minute and tell you all about a very
special dog that I lost last Febuary.... I had wanted to get my self a small
dog for a long time after working with the horses I wanted something that could
curl up in my lap in the house. I had always wanted a Shih Tzu and decided that
the time was right for me to get one so off I went.... I think it was love at
first sight for me and Vicky... she definately thought that she was a Queen
and should be treated royally with just enough of the court Jester mixed in to
to keep life interesting.... From the first night that she came home with me
she made it very clear that it had been her that had done the chosing and as far
as she was concerned she never made a mistake.... she was a constant companion
and never missed a chance to show her love and understanding....
To My Angel
A angel came to stay with me
A truer love for all to see
She gave her heart
With every beat
To show me how she felt for me
I loved her so
With all our days
Where one was found the other stayed
To have her gone
I miss her so
But I loved her enough
To say goodbye
With all the pain that took my love
I knew she was better up above
Where she could keep an eye on me
And watch her daughter until she was grown
Now Maggie May
Is her own sweet self
But a glimpse of her mother
I can see in a glance
I know I lost a treasure so fine
But was blessed with daughter
To take up the time
To help to mend the broken heart
So Vicky I love you where ever you are
I know you are with me
In Spirit no doubt
I say goodbye and send you my love
So go my angel and fly up above
And keep an eye on the ones that you love
I'll look up in the sky and try to see
A little cloud waving down at me....
