Anneliese Joined in April 1999. Anneliese is a Young Leader in another Guide Conuty, and is working for her Queen's Guide. She is attached to our Ranger Unit as she wnated to be a Ranger and there isn't another one c,loser to her home, although does not make it to meetings very often.
Cathy Joined in June 1998. Cathy was a Guide, but only very briefly. Her friend dragged her along to Rangers one night, and she's been coming on and off ever since.
Helen Joined in March 1998. Helen was a Brownie and a Guide and is a founder member of Portsmouth South Division Rangers. She is also a Young Leader with St. Peters' Brownies and has been selected to represent Hampshire East at the World Camp at Foxlease in 1999. Helen enjoys out door activities and has been on so many walks as a Guide she has lost count. Helen made her Promise as a Ranger at the end of her last Guide camp, having been coming to Rangers and Guides since the Ranger Unit started.
Karen Joined in January 1999. Karen is coming to Rangers for occasional meetings while still going to Guides until she finds her feet. She enjoys walking and anything to do with the outdoors, and also helps with Brownies.
Layla Joined in March 1998. Layla is working away from Portsmouth at the moment and doesn't manage to get back very often. She was a founder member of the Ranger Unit and is hoping to come back to Rangers when her job brings her back to Portsmouth. Layla enjoys walking and outdoor activities.
Lesley Lesley is the Unit Guider. She moved to Portsmouth in 1993 when she became the Assistant Guide Guider at St. Peters Guides. A few years later it became apparent that there was a need for a Ranger Unit. Never one to miss a challenge, The Ranger Unit was formed. Lesley is working for the Advanced level of the Walking Safely Training Scheme.
Natalie Joined in March 1998. Natalie was also a Brownie and a Guide, and is a founder member of Portsmouth South Division Ranger Unit. She also helps with Girls' Brigade. Natalie won the Gold Award when the Unit took part in "Relay for Life" in July 1998 because of her commitment to the event. She is the Unit Secretary.
Rose Joined in March 1998. Rose was a Brownie and a Guide, and is a Young Leader helping with All Saints' Rainbows. She is a founder member of Portsmouth South Division Rangers, and is the Unit Catering Secretary. Rose's claim to fame is having lunch with HM Queen when she came to Portsmouth to give out the Maundy Thursday Money in 1998
Stacey Joined in March 1998. Stacey was a Brownie and a Guide, and is a founder member of Portsmouth South Division Rangers. She enjoys out door activities and will try most things once.
