God Exists

How do we know that God exists?

We can take it on Faith, that He exists. But God wants us to be thinking followers! So, while I believe that God exists, I know that He does, as well.

The Cosmological Argument.

God exists as the First Cause. Whether you accept Evolution or not, eventually you are led to the question: "What came first?" No matter how far back we go, there is always something that started it all. Even if you go as far back to "The Big Bang" in Scientific theory -- there is still that "unknown" force that began it all. This force that is beyond time, outside of space, before and after the creation of the cosmos -- this is God.

The Teleological Argument.

The order of the universe is evidence of God's existence. The study of Biology led me to wonder at the amazing complexity of all life. How exact, how wonderfully, everything is made! How can there not be a "design" behind it all? How can all things fit so well into their nitches? How can the earth be placed so exactly in the position of its orbit to allow for life to exist on it? This design is God.

The Moral Argument.

The moral consciousness of mankind points to the existence of God. All of mankind is essentially religious in being, from the primitive to the civilized; mankind recognizes a spirituality above ourselves. Why? We have an innate knowledge of "good" and "evil". Because we are all created in the image of God!
