ARE YOU SAVED? ARE YOU PREPARED TO MEET YOUR CREATOR AND SAVIOR??
If you can't answer "yes" to these questions or are unsure of what the answer really is, please read on...
God says in order to go to Heaven when you die, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Ye must be born again."
God gives us the plan of how to be born again (which means to be saved) in the Bible. It's simple and YOU can do it today...right now!! Read on...
First, you must
realize that you are a sinner.
"For ALL have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God"
Romans 3:23
(this means
we ALL are sinners, everyone of us on this earth!...we fall far short of
being worthy to stand in God's presence)~~and the penalty for sin is DEATH.
"For the wages
(what we earn)
of sin is death" Romans 6:23
This sentence
of death means eternal (FOREVER) separation from God's presence in Hell.
"...it is appointed
unto men once to die, but after this the judgement." Hebrews
9:27
(the time to
receive our "wages" for the sins we've committed comes after death at this
judgement)
BUT ~~~ God
loved us so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to pay the price
in our place!!
(is that not
an amazing thought??)

"He (God)
hath made Him (Jesus, Who never once sinned)
to be sin for us...that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."
2Corinthians
5:21
The Bible tells us why Jesus had to shed His blood and die:
"For the life
of the flesh is in the blood" Leviticus17:11
(we know that
to be true, right? without blood in our bodies, we cannot live)
"...without
the shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]
of
sin" Hebrews 9:22
(God made this
life-containing blood hold special meaning to all mankind)
"...God commendeth
His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us" Romans 5:8
(can YOU imagine
anyone YOU love this much? that you would send your child, or someone
you love dearly, part of yourself, as a sacrifice for people who are doing
hurtful, mean things against you? people who've abandoned you??
CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS????)
We are mere mortals. We cannot possibly understand this depth of love...that God could take your sins and my sins and place them upon Jesus and send Him to die a cruel death in our place. Jesus became our Perfect Substitute...our Benefactor...our Redeemer. It is true. God cannot lie.
The way to accept
this wonderous Gift from God of eternal salvation is not hard.
"God...commandeth
all men everywhere to repent" Acts 17:30
Repentance
means a change of mind...agreeing with God that you are a sinner and with
what Jesus did for us on the cross.
The Phillipian
jailer asked Paul and Silas, "...Sirs, what
must I do to be saved? And they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ, and thou shalt be saved."
Acts 16:30-31
It IS that simple.
"That if thou
shalt confess (say)
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans
10:9
"For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans
10:13
whosoever--
ALL are included in that one word...there's no reason, excuse or law which
can exclude YOU from that word!!
shall--NOT
maybe, NOT possibly, NOT can, NOT might but -- shall
be saved!!!!
Friend, if you have come to a realization of Jesus Christ and have met the sparse 'requirements' in Romans 10:9 (above) and want to begin living your life for Him, you can pray this prayer:
In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: "God be merciful to me a sinner"
Dear God,
I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died
on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial and resurrection
were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for
the for-
giveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because
of
Your merciful grace.
In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
If you have
prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus' gift of salvation, please tell someone!!
"Whosoever
therefore shall confess [testify of]
Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32
