Sensational Double Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup CriscoŽ 3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 t. vanilla 2 cups quick oatmeal 1 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup cocoa 1/2 t. salt 1 t. baking soda 1 cup WHITE chocolate chips Cream together the CriscoŽ, sugars, eggs, vanilla, salt, and soda. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Stir in cocoa and flour. Stir in oatmeal and chips. Place slightly flattened balls of dough on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake about 8 minutes at 375° F. Remove from oven before completely done. Let set in pan about 3 minutes, then cool on rack. Store in an airtight container. Also freezes well.
