The Guardian Angels are not a choir in themselves. Rather, they are members of an honorary office. These angels are from all of the various choirs, and are imitations of Christ in the sense that they descend to the earth to guide each member of mankind towards eternal life. Though these angels can guide us for our good, they are not permitted to interfere with an individual's freedom to choose between right and wrong. We still make our own choices, and must be rewarded or punished accordingly.
