A few days later, you died happily at peace with God and His world. DEFECTS: O glorious St. Simon De Rojas, you were cured during your childhood of serious speech impediments through your devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin. Obtain from the Most Holy Trinity, through her intercession, the remedy of speech defects in those for whom we pray, or at least the spirit of Christian resignation and patience to bear them, if this should be God's Holy Will. NOVENA TO ST. SIMON DE ROJAS FOR ANY NEED: Heavenly Father, You have given the Church a special grace in the life and example of Your servant St. Simon De Rojas. During his life, he was filled with love for You, and his love was reflected in the compassion he felt for those in need. Give us that same burning love, Father, and like St. Simon, may our love for You manifest itself in our love for others. Through Your Grace, Father, St. Simon led others to greater devotion to Mary, the Mother of God. Grant all of us a greater devotion to Mary, and through the prayers of St. Simon may we come to acknowledge Mary as our Mother and our remedy for any need. Loving Father, we pray for the grace to be faithful witnesses to the Gospel. We cannot do it alone, but ask for Your help and guidance.
