MIRACULOUS INVOCATION TO ST. THERESE: O glorious St. Therese, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and inspire mankind, I implore your miraculous intercession. So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul, Holy Mother Church proclaims you a "Prodigy of Miracles...the greatest saint of modern times." I now fervently beseech you to answer my petition and grant me (make your request), and to carry out your promises of "spending Heaven doing good upon earth...of letting fall a shower of roses." Henceforth, dear Little Flower, I will fulfill your plea to be made known everywhere, and I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen. |

St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick for me a rose from the Heavenly garden, and send it to me with a message of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore, and tell Him I will love Him, each day, more and more. |

THERESE: Dearest Little Flower of Jesus--great wonderworker in every necessity--we humbly implore thy powerful intercession with Christ Our King through Mary Our Queen, the mediatrix of all graces. We trust, as little children--to the boundless love and goodness of God. Obedient to the admonition of Jesus--we implore this grace from the Heavenly Father--in the name of Jesus Christ-- and are absolutely confident to obtain our urgent request--if such is for His greater glory and our real best. PRAYER TO ACCEPT SUFFERING: Dear St. Therese, my Patroness, in imitation of thy example teach me to regard all trials and disappointments as special graces sent by God to elevate my thoughts and aspirations above those things that end with time. Let not the coldness of the world nor the indifference of creatures embitter me, but serve only to increase my Love for Jesus...the One Friend who changes not. May Love of Jesus inspire every thought, word and deed of my life, becoming so wholehearted and intense, that when earth grows dark and sorrows gather, all grief will appear as nothing in the burning Love of my Heart for Him. PRAYER FOR A HAPPY DEATH: I ardently beseech thee, dear Saint Therese, to obtain from Almighty God this grace, that with Mary and Joseph at my side I may die a peaceful and holy death strengthened by the sacraments of the Church and entirely resigned to God's will. May my last words on earth be the dying prayer thou didst utter: "My God...I love Thee!" Amen.

MORNING PRAYER BY ST. THERESE: O my God! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to His infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of His merciful love. O my God, I ask of Thee for myself and for those dear to me the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy holy will, to accept, for love of Thee, the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all eternity. PRAYER OF REPARATION BY ST. THERESE: I adore and praise Thee, O my Divine Jesus, Son of the living God, and I desire to make satisfaction for all the outrages which I, the most miserable of Thy creatures, have offered Thee in all the members of Thy Blessed Body, and particularly in Thy adorable Face. Hail, worshipful Face, disfigured by spittle and hardly to be recognized through the cruel treatment which Thou didst receive from the impious Jews. I salute Thee, O Blessed Eyes, all bathed in tears, which Thou didst shed for our salvation. I salute Thee, O Blessed Ears, assailed by blasphemies, insult, and cruel mockeries. I salute Thee, O Blessed Mouth, filled with graces and tenderness for poor sinners, but embittered with vinegar and gall by the monstrous ingratitude of that people whom Thou didst choose from among all nations. In reparation for all these ignominies, I offer Thee all the homage which is given Thee in that holy place where Thou art please to be honored with a special worship, uniting myself therewith. At the sight of Thy Most Holy Face, dear Jesus, so disfigured by bruises, I cry out with St. Augustine: "Lord Jesus, impress upon my heart Thy sacred wounds, that I may read therein at once Thy sorrow and Thy love; Thy sorrow , in order to suffer every affliction for Thee. O Sorrowful Jesus, when casting ourselves before Thy Adorable Face to ask thee for the graces of which we have need, we ask Thee above all to order the interior features of our souls that we may never refuse Thee and all that Thou, Thyself, desirest of us through Thy holy commandments. Praise be to Thee, O Jesus Christ, for the most Sacred Grief of Thy adorable Face. By this Sacred Grief and by Thy most Sacred Passion pardon all the sins I have committed against Thee, in thought, word, and deed, and all negligence in Thy service, and all sensuality for which I have been to blame whether asleep or awake. Grant that I may be able to recall with devotion Thy most pitiful pains suffered in Thy Sacred Face. PRAYER TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN BY ST. THERESE: How I love Thee, O my Blessed Virgin Mother! Had I been a priest, I would have spoken so much of thee. Thou art represented as to thee I consecrate my soul and all unapproachable; rather thou shouldst be shown as so easily imitated. Thou art more Mother than Queen! Yet I have heard it said that all the Saints are eclipsed by thy radiant brightness, as the sun at rising makes the stars disappear. How strange that seems - a mother eclipsing the glory of her children! I think quite the contrary, sweet Virgin, I believe that thou wilt immensely increase the splendor of the elect, O Sweet Virgin Mary! how simple does thy life seem. A PRAYER TO BE A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF MARY: Dear Saint Therese, the beloved flower of Jesus and Mary, the Immaculate Virgin, who specially favored thee, even from thy infancy, so as to lead thee to her cloister and there to conduct thee as a spouse of God up to the Altar; obtain for me, O little Saint, that Mary would continue to shower her blessing upon me, so that I may ever remain her faithful client, ever loving her and imitating her virtues, especially the virtue of the ardent love of God.
