I was swepped down stream for a distance and I was not able to swim to shore. I was just about to go unconscionce when I was pulled from the water. I was too confused to know what was happening and whop pulled me out. I was placed down on the ground and he introduced himself.

" Hey, my name is Melampus. And You are?"

" Ah... C*coughs* Callisto. Where is Torch?" I asked.

"Torch? Are you cold? Do you want me to build a fire?" Melampus asked me.

"No, Where is Torch? Me horse?"

"I wasn't aware that a horse fell in the river--" Melampus said.

"She may be upstream on the bank, I must go and look for her." I said as I was about to get up.

"You better stay here, I will look for this Torch horse of yours, ok?" He said as I just passed out on the ground. The next thing I remember was smelling dinner cooking and waking up in a nice warm bed. I had a splitting head ache and I was getting up to take some pain killers when I realized this was not my house. I walked out to the living room and saw Melampus sitting on the ground entertaining a younger kid.

"Hey Callisto, you're up I see. How do you feel?" He asked me as he stood up.

" I am ok, but I have a head ache." I replied to him.

"Hey, out of curiosity, what Made you want to shave your hair?"

"Huh?" I said as I glanced in a nearby mirror. I noticied my so called hair didn't come back yet. "Oh, no, I have hair..see?" I said as I poofed back my hair.

"Woah, are you a goddes?"

"Yes I am."

"Hey, I remember you, You are Hades daughter! I remember seeing you in the P.A." Melampus said.

"I never saw ya before." I replied as I sat down. "Is Torch ok?"

"Yeah, she is outside." He said as he sat down next to me.

"Well, I gotta go, thank you for saving me and Torch." I started to get up and walk to the door.

"Do you have to leave so soon?" questioned Melampus.

"Yeah, Olympus awaits along with all the angry gods."

" Wow! Olympus! That is neat!"

"Not really," I said " Not when they all hate ya there."

"Then why do you have to leave so soon?" he questioned. " Stay for dinner."

"I already ate, and I should return."

"ok, well, look for me at school Monday, ok?" Melampus said.

"I will.

"Not really," I said " Not when they all hate ya there."

"Then why do you have to leave so soon?" he questioned. " Stay for dinner."

"ok, well, look for me at school Monday, ok?" Melampus said.

"I will. Thanks again Melampus." I said as I ran out the door. I hoped on Torch and flew away. I did not really want to go back to Olympus, so I decided to visit Daphne.

"Not so hot," was my replay as I pored a glass of lemonaid for Torch and I. "You will never guest what Chaos just did to me. He pushed me in the river and I was so helpless. And... I really HATE that kid!!!"

" Chill Calli before my tan begins to burn!" Daph stated as she put more sun tan lotion on. "How did you get out?"

" Some kid rescued me, Melampus was his name. He claims to go to the Prem. Acad. With us, but I never heard of him."

"How does he look?" asked Daphne, which was her typical question.

"He was ok, I guess... I dunno, why the hell do you always ask those dumb...silly questions?"

"A girls gotta know what a girls gotta know!" she said as she smirked. " Did he checxk you out?"

" I do NOT know Daph!"

"Well, tell me what happened..." said Daph.

"Ok, he rescued me..."

"How did he rescue you?" interupted the purple nymph.

"I don't know, all I remember is opening my eyes and seeing him, and asking where Torch was."

"Continue," Daphne said as she sipped her drink.

"I then passed out I guess, because the next thing I remember is waking up in a bed--"

"Was he in it?" Daphne said seeming more interested in it then ever.

"NO!" I shouted.
