The Mouse and I
I was here all alone, it was quiet in the house,
I looked at the desk and there set a mouse.
Now for some that is scary, but in me there's no fright,
I said "hello rodent", where we off to this night?
I turned on the switch, the screen came alive,
And ever so silent the hum of "C" drive.
My service provider and telephone line,
Both get my money, as well as my time.
I checked for my e-mail, but nothing was there,
Then on to Yahoo, then who knows where.
We can check out the chat rooms, or someone's home page,
The latest in downloads for games is the rage.
We can check out some country, or some place close to me,
Take a look at some stars or under the sea.
The latest in news, is easy to find,
The information out there will dazzle the mind.
So the next time someone says how much they hate mice
Just grin to yourself and say �that's not nice"
Explain how you travel, the rodent and you,
All over the world, together you two.
To China, Korea, Australia and France,
America, Russia, go on take a chance.
Just the tip of the iceberg, of what you can see,
Now I'm going surfing, old mousy and me!!

CYBER OASIS

A man I am so deep
Often unable to sleep
Words, lyrics, music and phrase
Recalling memories of my past days
Unexpected tears -
Emotions from bygone years
What is my purpose in life?
Seeking but to have a loving wife?
I am but so humble and meek
Wanting to kiss my Lady�s cheek
Feeling lost and alone
Living a life on my own
The world full of sadness
Grief, anguish and madness
Yet inside I have so much love to give
It is that which inspires me to live
Tomorrow is another day
Hopeful things go my way
So I cannot despair
Even though things don't seem fair
My waterfall site has brought praise
To thousands in the world in many ways
And so when I die
There is my site in cyber sky
An oasis of inspiration
To those feeling desperation
