It's an outhouse (half-moon type). It's made with cedar scraps glued to -you guessed it- cartons. |

Another carton covered with wrinkled alum. foil. Then antiqued with black acrylic. |

Found this old milkcan and couldn't resist. Birdhouse is perched atop cedar tree trunk, in milk can, wound with silk ivy vine. House is made with corrugated cardboard from shipping carton. Sides of cardboard boxes, when wet down really well, allow you to peel off the outer sheet of paper revealing the corrugated section. Paint and decorate with moss, mushroom bird, flowers or whatever. The flower arrangement that is cluttering up the photograph has 3 miniature birdhouses that match the ones on pole and plaques. |

This is the larger of two wall plaques, that match the dwelling on milk can. Masonite board is covered with canvas fabric, gessoed and painted as a sky background. The birdhouse is a triangular section made with corrugated cardboard, with stick for pole, mounted at an angle on the board. |
