This is my latest completed project and if the scan weren't so bad, maybe you could see why I'm so excited. The bottle is 5" in height, beaded in gold, root beer, purple iris and lavender seed beads and bugles, embellished with amethyst chips. The cork topper is a spool beaded in tubular peyote. All the recently (imperfectly) acquired techniques are thanks to cyber acquired beading friends, who share so willingly of their knowledge and encouragment. Judith Giffin at Beadline Studios, taught me about coral branch fringe, Beverly Herman at No Easy Beads taught me how to play around with freeform peyote. Marylyn Letson and the great Mare's Bead Cave bunch, Rosalie Harrison, Diane Ciolek, Lynn and Shannon , shared more than they'll ever know. |
