MY PROJECTS
beaded bottle This is my latest completed project and if the scan weren't so bad, maybe you could see why I'm so excited. The bottle is 5" in height, beaded in gold, root beer, purple iris and lavender seed beads and bugles, embellished with amethyst chips. The cork topper is a spool beaded in tubular peyote. All the recently (imperfectly) acquired techniques are thanks to cyber acquired beading friends, who share so willingly of their knowledge and encouragment. Judith Giffin at Beadline Studios, taught me about coral branch fringe, Beverly Herman at No Easy Beads taught me how to play around with freeform peyote. Marylyn Letson and the great Mare's Bead Cave bunch, Rosalie Harrison, Diane Ciolek, Lynn and Shannon , shared more than they'll ever know.
beaded tropical bird stamp This was my first officially finished off loom beading project and I was bursting at the seams with pride and joy. (For some of us, it doesn't take too much), I made this at a gathering of beaders in Memphis while attending "Mare's Bead Cave". The stamp is from a kit of Beverly Herman's. Beverly can not be blamed for the color selection ,however, as the bead selection was my own.
