Silver cobwebs glisten with the sparkle of early dew As sleepy butterflies dance under the fragile lacy canopies. Across a shimmering magical pond gossamer winged faeries giggle their greeting to morning's debut And call in hushed whispers for sprites to come and play. Fireflies with tiny lanterns glowing play tag with darting dragonflies Amid fragrant toadstools peeping from soft dark soil. The deep green of the forest unlocks secrets that were tucked beneath its gentle blanket, And wee leprechauns hide in the shadows of soft fallen leaves, Waiting for the power and magic of the night. A fleet-footed unicorn tosses his mane with gay abandon and prances toward the cool of a waterfall sparkling nearby. A secret tunnel holding treasures of the dark opens its shadowed domain As the fantasy within reaches out And, in a mystical moment, pulls reality inside.
