Comments: Hi Gang, "It's Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom Time". Remember That? I enjoyed listening and dancing to the Jack Hyman's band, "The Starlighters". It was composed of six members from the Class of '58. Can you name all of them? I'll give you a hint. Betty Fl wers played piano. Well, I've been working in the yard getting ready for spring. I've got this bird that chose a hole in my house for her nest. A ventilator button must have popped off. Didn't that bird know that THIS IS A CAT'S HOUSE? Well, I can't reach the hole with my arm out tretched unless I climb a very tall ladder, so I hung up some windchimes out the upstairs bathroom window. Had to tear a hole in the screen. The chimes hang down about 2 feet near the hole. THE BIRD STILL COMES.

Comments: WOW, WHAT A NIGHT! It was like being an astronaut. I saw a lot of great sights. The cities and highways were like beacons of light. First I saw Ambers Resaurant, McHale Auditorium, Spencer Park, the Carousel at Riverside Park, the Eel and Wabash Rivers, Dykeman Golf Course, Ide's Tree Farm and Winona Lake I also learned a lot about Santa. It's takes him 24 hours to deliver the presents. He travels westward around the world. Santa has been doing it since about 372 A.D. He weighs 260 lbs. I forgot how much the sleigh weighs. Santa goes REALLLLLY FAST-in th blink of an eye. Rudolph's nose is so bright that the Defense Support Program can pick him up on their satellite system and track where ever he goes. The weather at the North Pole yesterday was mostly cloudy, wind was from the West at 7 mph, relative hum dity 79%, barometer 30.32 inches, and temperature was O F. (Santa gave me a note that had that information on it.) Great trip. Hope I can go again next year. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Now that I think about it, I guess that I have a lot in common with SOME folks in the Class of '58.) I promised Felix that he could make the trip with me this year and be one of my assistants. I'll pick up Felix in IN, visit Susan, Bob, Peggy, Charlie, Verna, Tom, Ann, and Mike. Then we will take a left to MO and AR and see Jan and Susie. From there we'll go to AZ and drop in on Sharon and Connie. Next is CA to see Judy. Then we'll make a quick trip to FL to visit Jim. The big trip to Guatemala to see Buddy should only take a couple of seconds. Then back to Logan to drop Felix off and say hello to the Felix Family. If any more members of the Class of '58 would like Felix and I to drop in, or visit anyone special this year, just LEAVE US A MESSAGE HERE before 6:00 p.m. EST. That's take off time in the U.S.A. I enjoyed cruising Broadway in my old jeep (newly painted red and black) and listening to Beeth's Banjo Sonata #22 in C. It gives true "class" to our '58 site. Comments: Hello to all. Bob Hardin reached me on the "web" and introduced me to this fine effort. Sorry I didn't know about the reunuion. Spending Sun. afternoon looking over the pictures and comments...a real trip into the past! You all look good. After LHS 11th grade I went to Ottawa, Ill. Later to Ohio State. Indust. Engineering & Business. MBA at Okla.City Univ. Joined GE and moved to NY,NC,OK,IL,and have been in TX (Houston) for 17 Yrs. Still with GE. Married Dianne-met at OSU, 3 kids, (2 boys-1 girl) Younges boy just in 9th. so school stuff is still very current in our household. Enjoy hobbies and other things that really started at LHS with many of you. Regularly play string bass in a church orchestra, take a lot of photos, and enjoy Ham radio as another obby.
