One of the things that I'm asked most often is "How did you creat the Lake Applet?" So Here's the secret.

1) First you must have the Lake.class file. If you do not have it then you can download it from this site. Java Boutique.

2) Upload the Lake.class file to your server, but be sure that you keep the (L) in Lake capital or it will not work.

3) Upload the graphic that you wish to use to make the Applet onto the same server as your Lake.class file.

4) Note: The width of the Applet should be the same as the graphic that you wish to use. The height should be sit twice the size of the graphic minus 10 to 20. You will just have to play around with it to get the best look for your Applet.

5) Below is the code that you will want to use when creating the Lake Applet. However remember to input your own grahic's widith, height, the name of your server and grahic's name into the code, where indicated.

Most of your Applets will also give you the code they want you to use, however the one above is a code that will work for you. Please note that your browser must support Java to work correctly.
