Cocktail Popcorn
1/2 c. popcorn
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. minced chives
2/3 c. butter
1 tbs. garlic powder
Use a skillet lg. enough so kernels can spread over bottom in one uncrowded layer. Put empty skillet on low and melt 1/3 c. butter. After 2 min., test by dropping in a kernel. If kernel pops immediately, add remaining corn and cover skillet. Shake back and forth to keep kernels moving. In separate pan, melt remaining butter. Add salt, garlic and chives; pour over popped corn and toss.
Yields: 3 quarts
