How to give blood in Toronto
I found people that really know what they are talking about and you can talk to them too. Call 416-974-9900 extension 3560 or 3582. They assure me you can call anytime to get any information you need...such as "can I give blood if I'm taking a medication".
The general criteria is
between the ages of 17 and 60
In good health
Have not been to the dentist 3 days before giving blood.
No tatooes or body piercing.
Eat a normal meal before giving blood
Any other questions about yourself call 416-974-9900
SunnyBrooke Hospital has a blood donor clinic every Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 4:00Pm
Go to the main parking lot
Go to the main doors
Take the elevator to the 6th floor "B" wing Room 633
DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PARKING TICKET WITH YOU...THEY WILL STAMP IT AND PAY YOUR PARKING FEES FOR YOU.

In Richmond Hill the Blood Donor Clinics are held the last Tuesday of each month. The next one is January 26th, 1999 3pm to 8pm. They too will pay for your parking. *smile*
Another way to give blood is to call the Manulife Centre
You can go to the Manulife Centre in Toronto.
That's on the corner of Bay and Bloor in Toronto.
.It's on the second floor by the Theatre.
You can get free parking ...enter off Charles Street...Don't forget to have them stamp your parking ticket. Monday 12 noon to 4pm
Wednesday 12 noon to 7pm
You can reach them at 416-924-5955
They too will pay your parking.
A regular Clinic is also at the Mississauga Square One
Take the 403 and get off at Hurontario
Go South to Square One (on your right) and park by the Eatons Store. The clinic is between The Eatons and the Food Court.

Friday and Saturday 12-4
