Prayers for the ascension of the spirit are done every nine days for nine times and then on the 200th and 300th days at the local temple. The FINAL services for Ly Premo's father, Pham Van Nguu, were held October 18, l997 in
ThiXa(Town) GoCong, Vietnam and those for Tom Premo's mother, Edna "Jackie" Premo were held on August 13, 1998 in
San Jose, California. Tom and Ly attended the prayers, whenever possible, including the FINAL ones in GoCong
and San Jose.
