TESTIMONY

In our lives the Lord will let things happen so that we see that He is All Powerful, and loves us and is on our side. An incident happened to me where I realized that God can do anything and He protects me from any harm.
My girls were staying after school to see movies and the sky was cloudy. I started towards the school to pick them up. I was a block away from the parking lot when I saw a tornado heading towards the school. I said " Lord that isn't what it looks like it is, is it?" I parked in the parking lot and there are no ditches around to get into, so all I could do was head for the door to get into the building.
Earlier that day I watched Larry Lee on TV, and he had a sermon about the Blood of Jesus! He said that satan can't penetrate the Blood. Well heading for that door and knowing the tornado was heading in my direction, I WAS SCARED!! I started praying saying, " Lord help me get to that door." Then I heard a voice saying, "satan is going try to kill you today." I Yelled, "NO!! I'm covered by the Blood of Jesus and satan can't penetrate the Blood! Then I was back to "Lord help me get to that door" Then "I'm covered by the Blood of Jesus and satan can't penetrate the Blood." I kept repeating those two statements while heading for the door.
A few seconds later that tornado came over the roof of the school and right in between me and the door. I was heading that direction so I bumped into the wind of it. It was like hitting a brick wall, it stopped me cold. I heard things hitting things out there. Then I heard God say, "Run towards the door." So I did! God had His protection around me and I ran straight through that tornado to the door! When I got there the door was locked! So I started banging on it. One of the teachers let me in. They were busy getting all the students into the hallway and the Principal was blowing the tornado horn. It was like caos in there. I sat down by the wall with everyone else and found that all I had was leaves and sticks in my hair. No Scratches!!
The tornado wasn't a very big one but it did take the roofs off of houses, broke glass in the school, stripped a tree of its branches so it looked like a telephone pole with roots, and knocked other trees down. It also knocked some of the cars in the parking lot I was in, into each other.
After that I knew without a doubt that God can do anything, and He can and will protect me!

WHAT ROAD WILL YOU FOLLOW?

You have a road you are traveling down. There is a fork in the road. One way leads to life, and the other leads to a hidden cliff which when you go over it you will die. Along the road with the cliff there are many WARNING signs directing you back towards the road to life. You are the one to choose which road you will travel. Will you travel the road to life? Or will you ignore the WARNING signs and speed down the road to death?
Jesus is that road to life. He said "I am the way the truth and the life." Going your own way or following any other way is the road to death. Along the road people tell you about Jesus and the way to life. Do you ignore these WARNING signs? People are waving at you and saying "Hey this road has a cliff down it. If you continue this way you will die." Are you ignoring them and just speeding down that road? Are you laughing at them and saying they are crazy or ignorant? Then when it is too late and you are flying over that cliff to your death, no chance to turn back, Can you blame God? Since He gave you many WARNINGS which you didn't heed? It is not God's will for you to die, He has provided the way for you to have life. It is your choice to go your own way to death or go with Jesus to life.

GOD THE FATHER

God is like a father. Just like a parent here on earth He directs you. There are times when children want to go places and do things that are not for their best interest. The parent tells them not to go or not to do that, but it is the child's choice to obey or not. When they don't obey, can they blame their parents for what happens to them? In the same way you cannot blame God for the choices you make. He has given you the way to abundant life. That way is through Jesus Christ His only son!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR?

If you want life then pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, Forgive me of my sins. I have been living my life on my own. I realize that my way leads to death and I desire to have life instead. Lord I choose to follow you all the days of my life. Come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. Lead me in the path you have for me. Replace my desires with your desires for my life. Thank you Lord. In Jesus Name, AMEN!
