I would like prayers for my 18 year old son. He was molested by a step-brother when he was 5. The step-brother had been through a horrible and terrible ordeal before he came into our lives. We''ve had family therapy, etc. My son has some learning disabilities and is learning to overcome them, but I have discovered some disturbing behaviors that I will not go into. I am turning my son over to God and ask for prayer for his healing and for him to be successful in life. My daughter 20, while not experiencing the molestation activities, has suffered also and with the current national situation her anxiety levels are off the chart. On Sept 11, 2001 we were witnesses of pure evil on humanity and the civilized world. It was a deliberate evil act of destroying life and the freedom of living life without fear. This is obviously not from God but the enemy of God, the devil. The enemy has worked in these terrorists through the hatred of their hearts, and has spread and grown evil further than we dared to imagine. It is our time to rise up and fight this evil through the merciful heart of Jesus, who has won all victory through the sacrifice of his body and blood. I am asking that we sacrifice on the 11th of each month for 1 year, a day long fast with prayer as a nation to fight this evil. If you are unable to fast, sacrifice something else with your prayers. Throughout history fasting has proven itself to be very effective with God and his people. Offering this up through the body and blood of Jesus will allow the hand of God to work. No matter what the coming events may bring, be persistent and faithf! ul. The enemy will tempt you by many means to not participate. Use this as a measure of the effectiveness of your faith. Once a month, 12 times for one year. How hard can that be? Compare that to the price of the victums on Sept 11th had to pay. The enemy has challenged you as a soldier of Christ. What will your response be?
