Petitions

  • A petition through lisaviolet to PETA ASPCA and HSUS regarding: On Friday evening March 7, 1997, intruders broke into Noah's Ark, a no-kill, not-for-profit, cat rescue shelter. Saturday morning, March 8th,volunteers arriving to feed and care for the cats, discovered their belove furfriends, beaten and/or stabbed to death, injured and/or missing. Subsequently, 3 young males were arrested for this senseless and atrocious massacre.
  • Madlyn's Petition to the lawmakers: voice our outrage and make our wishes known to the Prosecutors in Fairfield, that the three young men, alleged perpetrators of this crime: Justin Toben, Daniel B. Meyers, and Chad Lemansky must, if convicted of these charges, receive the maximum allowable penalty for these crimes. I have heard that there are some who think the break-in, bludgeoning and stabbing to death of the cats were little more than 'childish pranks'! Can we tolerate opinions like this?
  • Olivia : On July 31, 1997 some motorists in Bloomington saw a cat on fire. They managed to catch the cat and get it to a veterinary hospital. Olivia, the cat the motorists saved, was the most severely injured cat of a group of four cats fallen victim to animal cruelty. Go directly to the online petition. Also information on Olivia here as well as info on the perpetrators.
