You were such a wonderful friend, companion and guide.
For all those years you were the one who would comfort me, the one
who would accompany me and the one who taught me patience.
You were serene and yet you would defend us with your life.
Now you are an Angel and will continue to watch over us. Dearest
heart how I miss your soft brown eyes, your head under my hand,
Holly your little friend misses you and so does Kelly - but now
you are with your lifelong friend Chappi and together you wait
for us both of you young and healthy once again.
Though tears drop from my eyes I know you are at peace.

Sir Elton of Cadbury
02-01-95 to 05-09-97
Elton was a happy little Aquarian pup, born 2 days after our pair of
13-year-old Springers were put to sleep. He became a Hawaiiana Canine School
lifetime member on April 27, 1996. He was also their very first Bakersfield
Barker member. Elton, and 2 other Barkers, were given "Golden Citizen"
certificates in October of 1996 for participating in the local SPCA's
obedience demonstration. Elton loved his family, parks, going "bye-bye" in
his car, his HCS instructors, tennis balls, his Barker buddies, cheese, his
Kong toy, and having his chest scratched.
You came into our lives and filled our hearts with so much love
Having to say goodbye to you was the furthest thing on our minds
Your 2 short years have left us a lifetime of memories
You are gone from our home, but will forever live in our hearts.
